Hope isn’t just a feeling, it’s an active verb…
It is a teachable skill that scientists see as three stages: goal-setting, path-finding, and hope-sustaining, each needing to be cultivated. Hope has a major impact on virtually all phases of one’s life. It focuses our minds and makes us resilient; with hope we are able to face adversity with confidence, building upon our capacities for understanding and compassion. With hope, faith and science work hand in hand. Join the conversation!
What you can expect from the roundtable/forum sessions...
The Science of Hope Roundtable/Forum discussions are about the intersections of research and community, of science and lived experience. Hope is more than wishful thinking. Join the inspiring and informative discussions on the first three roundtable discussions: 1) healthcare; and 2) agriculture / environment.
Talk Openly. Share Opinions.
